This morning, with the aid of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Berlin, Maryland.  RE/MAX Premier Properties attempted to grant Mrs. Edna Rudolph Paul her wish of a hot air balloon ride at age 102.  Mrs Paul is RPP’s first Outstanding Achievement Award winner.  Mrs. Paul, at age 21, set the record for highest altitude flight piloted by a woman in an open cockpit aircraft.  A record that still holds today. The RE/MAX Flight Team of Kevin and Amy Poeppleman demonstrated to the student body of MBS the science of balloon flight and fielded questions from the students.  Unfortunately due to high winds Mrs. Paul’s ride was cancelled for safety reasons.
